FAQ

Station Solo questions

Can customers tap their card on the Station Solo?

The Station Solo takes chip and swipe. For tap-to-pay and PIN entry, we pair it with a Clover Mini at the counter or a Flex at the table. Most full-service restaurants pair it with Flex handhelds anyway.

Is the Station Solo a good fit for a full-service restaurant?

Yes. The toolkit fit chart we use starts full-service restaurants on a Station Solo, with a Flex or Flex Pocket for tableside payment and a Kitchen Display or kitchen printer. We adjust the count to your floor and your busiest shift.

Can we take phone orders on it?

Yes. Clover's sales sheet notes that the Station Solo can key in phone payments through Clover Virtual Terminal. We set that up only if you need it, and card numbers for phone orders go into Clover's own screens, not a notepad.

How many cash drawers can it run?

The Station Solo has two cash drawer ports. We connect the drawers you order and test that they open on cash sales on install day.

How much does a Station Solo cost?

We quote the station, any paired Mini or Flex, the monthly Clover software plan and your processing together before you sign. Get Clover Station Solo pricing below or call our team.
