Mini questions
Is the Clover Mini a full POS or just a card terminal?
It is a full POS. The Mini runs your items, orders, employees and reports on its own 8-inch screen and prints receipts. If you only need to take payments with no menu or inventory, the smaller Clover Compact may fit; we will tell you which.
Clover Mini or Clover Flex?
Choose the Mini when payment happens at one counter. Choose the Flex when payment happens where the customer is: at the table, the chair, the bay or the curb. Plenty of businesses run both: a Mini at the counter and a Flex on the floor.
Can the Mini work with a Station?
Yes. The Mini can pair with a Clover Station Solo as the screen where the customer taps, inserts and enters a PIN, or sit beside a Station Duo as a second register.
Does the Mini take EBT?
Clover's sales sheet lists credit and EBT swipes, chip with PIN or signature, and contactless payments, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. Tell us if you take EBT and we set it up with your merchant account.
