Do I need a merchant account to use Clover Go?
Yes. Clover's sales sheet says a Clover merchant account is required to use Clover Go. We set up that merchant account with you as part of the order.
Does Clover Go work without internet?
Clover's sales sheet lists an offline mode that accepts payments without an internet connection. We walk you through how offline payments work before your first market day, so there are no surprises.
Clover Go or Clover Flex?
The Go pairs with your phone or tablet, so it is small and simple. The Flex is its own handheld POS with a printer and cellular service. If you print receipts or hand the device to staff all day, choose the Flex.
How long does the battery last?
The toolkit lists about 130 to 160 transactions a charge. For a long event, bring the charger.
