Station Duo questions
What is the difference between the Station Duo and the Station Solo?
Both have a 14-inch screen for your staff. The Station Duo adds an 8-inch screen that faces the customer, where they see the order, choose a tip and enter their PIN. The Station Solo has one screen; customers pay on a Clover Mini or Flex paired with it. If your customers pay at the counter, the Duo is usually the simpler setup.
Does the Station Duo come with a cash drawer?
No. The cash drawer is sold separately. We quote it with your order if you take cash, and we connect it and test that it opens on cash sales during the install.
Can the Station Duo take EBT and mobile wallets?
Yes. Clover's sales sheet lists credit, debit and EBT, plus NFC payments such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Card entry stays on the device and the processor's systems; your staff never key in customer card numbers.
Does it need internet?
It connects by Ethernet or Wi-Fi, and 4G/LTE is available. We test the connection you have at your counter on install day, and we recommend a wired connection for a busy register when your store has one.
