These guides cover the POS features available to your store according to its business type, enabled modules and your permissions. Your menu may show fewer screens. The public demo contains sample data and selected features; it does not take real payments and may look different from your store. Use your store's actual settings and ask an administrator if a step is unavailable.
Everything lives in the sidebar on the left. The bar across the top carries your current page, a jump-to-page box, and your avatar.
The seven sidebar groups

You will not see all of these. The sidebar only shows the pages your account includes, and a group with nothing in it is not drawn at all — so a retail store usually has no Venue group. See Why can't I see that menu item?.
If your business type is restaurant or service, some of these are renamed: Products becomes Menu or Services, Sales becomes Orders or Bookings, and Customers becomes Guests or Clients. The pages are the same.
Finding a page fast
Two ways:
- The search box at the top of the sidebar. Type and the list narrows to matching pages.
- Ctrl+K (⌘K on a Mac) opens a jump box in the middle of the screen. Type, use the arrow keys, press Enter. Escape closes it.
Ctrl+K jumps to a page. It does not search your products, customers or sales — for those, use the search on the page itself.
Light and dark
The theme switch sits in the sidebar footer. Light is the default; dark is there if your counter is dim. Your choice is remembered on that device, so each terminal can be set differently.
Language
Next to the theme switch is a language picker with six choices: English, Español, Français, Tiếng Việt, 中文 and 한국어. Changing it changes the app for you on that device only — it does not change what prints on a customer's receipt, and it does not change the language for anyone else.
When the sidebar is collapsed, the language control becomes a globe button that steps to the next language on each tap.
The top bar
- Home takes you to the dashboard; next to it is the name of the page you are on.
- The middle holds the Ctrl+K box.
- On the right: a connectivity indicator, the notification bell, and your avatar. The avatar menu has Lock and Sign out.
Three things actually reach the bell: a new appointment being booked, a kitchen order being marked ready, and a waitlist table coming free. If your store does none of those, the bell stays empty — that is normal, not a fault.
It does not report sales rung at this register, and it does not warn you about low stock. For low stock, look at the Dashboard or the Inventory page.
There is no store switcher in the top bar. If you work at more than one store, sign out and sign back in to move between them.
