A page you were told about is not in your sidebar, or you followed a link and got a card that says:
This feature isn't enabled on your account Contact Stratamize Support to enable Messaging for your account.
Both mean the same thing: that feature is not part of your account yet.
It is your account, not you
The sidebar hides a page when your account does not include the feature behind it. It does not hide pages based on who you are or what role you hold. Two people signed in to the same store see the same sidebar.
If you can see a page but cannot do something on it, that is a permission — a different thing. Permissions are set per employee on the Employees page.
Pages that are always there
Selling, products, registers, refunds, customers, reports and admin are core to the product. They are never switched off, so they are always in your sidebar.
The pages that can be switched off are the extras: Messaging, Scheduling, Purchase Orders, Transfers, Appointments, Rewards, Bar Tracking, Kitchen, Floor Plan and Waitlist, Shipping, Tabs and Preauths, Labs, and Local Delivery.
A few of those start switched off for everyone and only exist once we turn them on for you — Labs, Local Delivery, and managing your own locations and registers.
Getting a feature switched on
Email support@stratamize.com and name the feature. The card on screen shows the name we use for it, so quote that line back to us.
Once it is on, refresh the page. The sidebar item appears and the page opens.
If you typed the address directly
Going straight to a hidden page's address does not get you past this — you land on the same card. That is deliberate: the server refuses the page too, not just the menu.
