Alerts controls email notifications. These settings are separate from customer receipts and Savanah calls.
Set preferences
- Open Alerts and verify the displayed destination email.
- Turn on Email alerts enabled to receive notifications. It is the master switch.
- Choose available events: New disputes, Statement ready, ACH returns, Deposits posted, Failed recurring, Elevated declines, and Large charges.
- Look for Saved after changing a switch. If Couldn't save — retry appears, check the connection and verify the setting again.
- Under Thresholds, review Large-charge amount ($) and Declines before alerting.
- Choose Save thresholds after editing those values.
A large-charge amount of 0 disables that alert even if its switch is on. An individual event switch does not override a disabled master switch.
Check delivery
When no address is present, the screen may offer a notification-email field. Also review Settings → Contact & sign-in → Notification email and confirm Save email succeeds.
If an alert is missing, check the master switch, event switch, threshold, destination, and junk-mail folder. Inspect the event in the portal and contact the operator if delivery still appears wrong. Email alerts do not replace checking open disputes or overdue records.
The demo may simulate preference changes, but sends no email. Saved refers only to synthetic state. For other account changes, see security and two-factor.
