Create an invoice with line items

Prepare customer details, review the total, and choose supported payment options.

Menus and available actions depend on your role and enabled services. In the local demos, use sample records only; no real payments or messages are sent.

Use Invoices for an itemized payment request. Confirm the customer, amount owed, and enabled payment methods before starting.

Build the invoice

  1. Open Invoices → + New invoice.
  2. Fill Customer name and Customer email. Add Customer phone when needed for an enabled follow-up workflow.
  3. Enter Invoice # and Due date if appropriate; these fields are optional.
  4. Enter each line's Description, Qty, and Price. Use + Add line for more items.
  5. Review Tax rate % and Memo. Invoices use their own tax field, even when terminal tax settings exist.
  6. Under Payment options, choose supported methods such as Accept card and Accept eCheck. Review Let customer save method and any card service-fee choice.
  7. Check Total and the preview. If a service fee is described as being added at checkout, distinguish it from the invoice subtotal.
  8. Save with the available invoice action. Confirm the invoice appears with the expected status.

Check before sending

Saving a draft is not sending a request or receiving payment. See invoice follow-up for delivery and status. If submission reports an error, inspect the list before creating a duplicate.

In the demo, the button is Save demo draft. Email the invoice now is disabled, and saving creates an in-memory sample. Demo draft arithmetic is simplified; use it to practice the form, not validate tax or checkout calculations.
