You choose the wording at the top and bottom of your receipt and which six optional lines print. You need the admin or super role; other roles get an empty Administration screen.
Go to Administration → General. The Receipt Settings card holds everything on this page.
Set the header and footer
Receipt Header prints centred, directly under your store name. Use it for a line you want customers to read first — a return policy summary, a slogan, a phone number for orders.
Receipt Footer prints centred at the very bottom, under the last total. It starts
as Thank you for your business!.
Both boxes accept several lines. Type the text, then press Save Changes at the bottom right of the tab. A green Settings saved message means it is stored.
One thing to know: emptying a box does not clear it. If you delete the footer text and save, the previous footer is kept. To remove a footer, replace it with a single space or a full stop rather than leaving it blank.
The six toggles
Each checkbox turns one line on or off for every receipt you print.
| Checkbox | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Show business address | Your store's street address, under the store name. |
| Show phone number | Your store's phone number, under the address. |
| Show cashier name | A Cashier line in the top block. |
| Show customer name | A Customer line in the top block, when a customer is attached to the sale. |
| Show rewards points | The boxed "You earned … pts" panel and the customer's balance. |
| Show tax detail | The tax lines and their percentages. |
Address and phone come from the location the sale was rung at, not from the Business Information card above. If they print wrong, see Troubleshooting → The receipt shows the wrong store details or the wrong time.
Show cashier name prints the cashier recorded on the sale, including the active PIN cashier. Reprinting after a PIN switch keeps that original name.
Show customer name and Show rewards points only print when there is something to print. A sale with no customer attached shows neither line even with both boxes ticked.
Turning Show tax detail off does not remove tax from the printed receipt. It
replaces the itemised tax lines with a single Tax line and the amount.
What the printed receipt looks like
Top to bottom, on the 80mm roll:
- Your store name — always, and it cannot be switched off.
- Your header text, if you set one.
- Address, then phone, if those boxes are ticked.
- The receipt number and the date and time.
- Cashier, then Customer, if those boxes are ticked and the values exist.
- Every line item, with quantity × price and the line total. A serialized item
prints its serial as
S/N:under the line. - Subtotal, discount (only if there was one), tax, tip (only if there was one).
- TOTAL in a solid black band.
- Cash, Card and Wallet lines for what was tendered, and CHANGE if change was given.
- The rewards points box, if that box is ticked and points were involved.
- Your footer text.
- The receipt number again, small, at the tear-off.
Check your work
Ring a small sale, or open a recent one from Sales History, and press the receipt button. The window that opens is the real document — the Print button prints exactly what you are looking at. Change a setting, print another, compare.
The Business Logo box
Administration → General shows a Business Logo card with a dashed upload area. It does not accept a file, and no logo prints on any receipt. Ignore it.
