Press ? anywhere outside a text box to see this list in the app. Print this page and tape it to the till if that is easier.

On a Mac, use Cmd wherever the table says Ctrl. Both work.

The three that work

Ctrl + K is not in the list the ? key shows, and it is the one to learn. It opens the search bar in the top bar, which reaches Dashboard, New Sale, Products, Inventory, Employees, Employee Performance, Administration, Setup Wizard, Reports, Purchase Orders and Customers. Arrow keys move the highlight, Enter opens, Esc closes.

If your store does not have a feature switched on, the search bar will still offer it and the screen will tell you it is not enabled. That is expected.

The six "jump to a screen" keys do not work

The list the ? key shows also advertises these six:

Pressing any of them opens a Page not found screen instead of the screen it names. Use Ctrl + K or the menu until that is fixed.

Two things follow from that. They fire even while you are typing in a box, so a stray Ctrl + Shift at the counter takes the till off the sale screen. And the cart is held on the sale screen only — leaving it, by a shortcut or any other route, empties it. If it happens mid-sale, go back to New Sale from the menu and ring the items again.

Two things to know

? does nothing while you are typing. The question mark is a character, so it goes into the box you are in. Click away from the box first, or press Esc.

There is nothing else. No shortcut adds an item to the cart, tenders a sale, opens the drawer or prints a receipt, and none of these can be changed or reassigned. At the register, the box at the top of the sale screen and the scanner are the fast path — not the keyboard.
