Merchant Portal

Look up a customer and their payment history

Search the directory and understand how records are grouped.

Menus and available actions depend on your role and enabled services. In the local demos, use sample records only; no real payments or messages are sent.

Customers is built from transactions, subscriptions, and saved methods. Use it to review history before discussing a payment or choosing a saved method.

Find and review a record

  1. Open Customers.
  2. Use Search name, email, or phone…. Try email first, then another identifier if necessary.
  3. Select the row, or focus it and press Enter.
  4. Check contact details, Lifetime, Transactions, First seen, Last seen, and Saved methods.
  5. Review Transaction history, including amount, masked method, and status.
  6. Choose All customers to return.

The portal groups by email where available, or by name and card information. Different emails or missing details can split one person's activity into separate entries. A matching name alone is not sufficient to select a method or disclose payment details.

Interpret missing information

No contact on file (one-off payer) means available records have no contact details. No saved methods does not mean the customer has never paid. The directory is a view of payment records, not an unrestricted profile editor.

For a missing record, clear search and confirm that a transaction or subscription exists. If entries appear incorrectly grouped, give the operator non-sensitive record references. Do not invent contact data merely to make a record appear complete.

For another payment, use Customer vault and verify the method again. Demo customer records are synthetic illustrations.
