Cards, bank accounts described as eCheck or ACH, and previously saved methods are distinct capabilities. Historical bank transactions do not prove new bank payments are enabled today.
Choose the available method
For a new card, choose New card when offered. Complete secure payment fields and requested billing details. Some configurations first display Start secure card entry. Do not move card details into customer notes if those fields are unavailable.
For a new bank payment, use New bank only when enabled. The form can request account holder, routing and account information, Checking or Savings, Personal or Business, and authorization type. Use the process approved for your business. A dropdown label does not replace customer authorization; ask your operator which option applies if uncertain.
For an existing method, choose Saved, then verify its owner, type, and masked digits. A bank entry is not a card and can follow a different settlement and return process.
Confirm account support
Saved methods, bank payments, receipts, refunds, and subscriptions may each have separate availability. The portal hides or disables unsupported functions. Ask about the specific action you need rather than assuming all payment tools are included together.
After a payment, check its result and later status. Do not treat an accepted bank-payment attempt as a guarantee against a later return.
The demo removes new card and bank entry. Use synthetic saved methods only. See Customer vault for saved-method tasks.
